Located in Quartier des Spectacles next to Place des Festivals, the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Montréal (MAC) has enriched Montreal's cultural scene for over fifty years. Showcasing diverse contemporary art forms, MAC evolves with new experiences for its audience.

With a vision to diversify revenue, enhance education, and embrace the digital era, MAC is undergoing a major renewal project since 2018, transforming its building into a modern museological hub for the twenty-first century.

A new logo was crafted to accompany this transformative phase, incorporating sleek geometric lines to infuse a contemporary vibe. By removing the "MAC" name, I aimed to create a logo that genuinely reflects the museum's unique identity, setting it apart from other "MAC" - modern art museums.

The new design not only captures the museum's distinctive character but also resonates with its ongoing physical evolution. The geometric lines of the logo project a modern aesthetic, perfectly aligning with the museum's refreshed architecture and accompanying its new brand guideline.
